Tuscaloosa Sports Foundation Announces Teen Masters Amateur Bowling Tournament
Tuscaloosa, AL-The Tuscaloosa Sports Foundation announces its fourth event of the spring season. AMF Bama Lanes will host the 2010 Teen Masters Regional Amateur bowling tournament. The winners from this event will go on to compete in Reno, NV for the national tournament which will be televised. The regional tournament will take place on March 28 and 29, and will feature bowlers of high school and college ages.
Killer 'B' Promotions manages the Teen Masters series, and Gary Beck, the president of Killer 'B' Promotions, was happy to bring the event to the Tuscaloosa area. “We are excited to be working with the Tuscaloosa Sports Foundation in bringing a Teen Masters regional event to AMF Bama Lanes. Tuscaloosa has a rich history of producing national champions, so we will be keeping a close eye on the bowlers who advance from our Alabama qualifying event!” The event should draw bowlers from all over the state and out of state players from Georgia, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
"The Tuscaloosa Sports Foundation actively seeks to bring high quality sporting events to our community that are springboards to national championship. In the Teen Masters we have partnering with an organization that will use this event as a qualifier for its Nationally Televised (Versus) Champions later this summer in Reno. Partnering with Killer "B" Promotions and Bama Lanes has been a pleasure and will pay dividends when the event comes to Tuscaloosa March 27-28" Said Don Staley Executive Director of the Tuscaloosa Sports Foundation. This is the third event of the spring season that will help to send athletes to a national event.
The Tuscaloosa Sports Foundation began operation in June of 2008, and continues to partner, sponsor, and host sporting events that help to improve the quality of life in the Tuscaloosa area.
